Drilling & Donation of BoreHole Water System

The water project which was constructed under the Ojah Family Foundation Rural Water Borehole Intervention Project, was handed over to the community on May 11, 2023 in a grand ceremony graced by elated community members, traditional rulers, among others. Ten of such boreholes have been constructed around communities in Ohafia.

Poverty Alleviation

Empowerment of selected unemployed youths with means of livelihood by distribution motor bikes and vehicles for commercial purposes. We are involved in Funding skill acquisition and vocational training programs to enable individuals to gain employment or start small businesses. • Providing microfinance and grants to support entrepreneurs in low-income areas.

Promoting Sports In Ohafia

DR. BARR. OKWUN OJAH (OGBANKPU OHAFIA) OHAFIA UNITY CUP where many more soccer talents were being discovered courtesy of the professional approaches adopted by the Organizing committee of the Dr.Barr. Okwun Ojah-sponsored Unity cup football tournament for Ohafia communities.

Multi-Million Naira Education Scholarship Programme

In 2024 & 2025- The Okwun Ojah Family Foundation has inaugurated and disbursed millions of Naira (N5M and N6M) education scholarship award programme aimed at supporting students of Ohafia origin who are currently studying medicine & surgery and Law in recognized Nigerian universities.

Health- Support To Indigent Ohafians

The Okwun Ojah Foundation has been engaged in procuring facilities for the Health centres and paying hospital bills for Nde ohafia who are not capable of paying health care bills. Above is cheque being issued to patient after her treatment.

Food Security: Free Rice Distribution

August 2024- The Okwun Ojah Family Foundation has distributed 60 bags of rice to the Amaekpu Ohafia and Nde Uduma Awoke Ohafia communities, providing much-needed assistance to families struggling with economic hardship.

Happy Faces of People Our NGO Impacted

One of the greatest reward to our little contribution to humanity is to see the Smiles on the faces of people our Foundation impacted, be they little kids, to those out of hospital, to the hungry who got food  packs, to the undergraduate who gained scholarship, to the footballer or even to the community people. Happy faces tell all the stories and drives motivation to do more!

Our Recent Scholarship Presentation

We awarded scholarships to 11 Law students from various tertiary institutions across Nigeria, following a rigorous screening process conducted through our online application portal. The presentation ceremony, held at the Skog Event Centre in Ohafia, drew the presence of distinguished personalities, politicians, academics, and delighted indigenes of Ohafia.
